So I just got done doing my very first Gradient Mani, and here are the results:

Tomorrow Mandi, and I are going to get pedicures and then eat at Panera. Mmmmm Paneraa. My feet are in terrible condition...I need to start doing that vaseline sock thing. Im starting to get tired, but i need to let my nails dry almost completely or else ill get pillow and hair marks in my nails. Kayla (dons sister) found out that she is having a GIRL!!! yessss...everyone hoped she would have a girl. Shes either naming it Emilee (or emily..i dont remember what she decided) or Emma...i vote for Emma. Well thats all i have on my mind right now.
Frasier has left the building....GOODNITE!
Delicious Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Cookies
This is my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. They come out thick and chewy in the middle, and crunchy on the outside.
(yes i know that there arent many chocolate chips in that cookie, but i dont like mine over chocolatey)
Recipe:
2 c. flour
1/2 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
3/4 c. butter melted MELTEDDD (its best if you use unsalted, but i never do)
1 egg + 1 egg yolk (the extra yolk is important so do not leave it out...or ELSE)
1 T. vanilla
2 c. chocolate chips (i only use 1 cup...or half a bag)
Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt
In a seperate bowl, beat together the sugars, vanilla, and melted butter. Add in the egg and egg yolk, and mix.
Gradually add in the flour mixture.
Add the chocolate chips
Chill for 45 minutes or so
Preheat oven to 325 and bake about 18 minutes.
I like to take mine out before they're completely done, and let them cool and finish cooking with their leftover heat. It makes them more chewy =)

Yesterday I made Cigarette Boreks, after months of delay. One day while talking to my (turkish) friend Imren she was showing me pictures of good turkish food, and these tasty little cigarettes of deliciousness popped up on my screen. I knew right away i had to try them, and lucky for me they were super simple. Well as I said i finally got around to making them yesterday, and they were gooooood. As a matter of fact im going to make some more tomorrow. Here are some pictures:
